Sophie Turner is having quite the moment right now. What with her IRL engagement to Jo-Bro Joe Jonas, her Louis Vuitton Campaigns and the upcoming final season of Game Of Thrones, and, well, you have a trifecta of excitement.

Aside from Sansa, next up for the British actress are roles in X-Men movies, a film called Huntsville, and rom-com Time Freak.

And whilst the world is thrilled to see what the new Mrs. Jonas will do next, plenty of us are still stuck firmly in the past.

Yep, we're still thinking about that truly awful rape scene in season five of GOT.

Sansa Stark

The young Sansa was raped on her wedding night by new husband Ramsay, and much of the audience was shocked the show would take it that far.

And given that Turner has played Sansa since she was 13-years-old, the terrifying sexual assault scene was almost too much for most people to handle.

The London-based Turner recently spoke to Marie Claire about the public outcry, saying, 'I was happy people were talking about it.'

Getting the conversation around sexual assault right is obviously a priority for the 21 year-old, but she wanted to make sure it didn't end with the fantasy TV show.

'I was angry they put all their effort into [debating] a television sexual assault when it happens around the world every day, and you barely hear of it,' she explains.

In recent weeks, more and more women in the public eye and out of it have been opening up about their own experiences with assault. Hopefully this means the conversation is finally getting a chance to move forward.
