If you've ever sat through a sporting match - be it rugby, football, tennis or, God forbid, cricket - and not had the foggiest idea what is happening, then you'll know how John Legend just felt while watching the baseball on Wednesday night.

Unfortunately for Legend, his wife Chrissy Teigen revelled in his cluelessness about the sport and - in true Teigen fashion - ripped him for it on social media.

Yesterday, the 31-year-old model posted a photograph of the singer sharing a high-five with fashion photographer Mike Rosenthal (who is incidentally married to celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin) while at the World Series Game 2 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Despite the pair's jubilation, the mum-of-one called Legend out on knowing sweet 'FA' when it comes to the sport.

'Watches baseball once,' she captioned the post.

But the 'Ordinary People' singer wasn't the only celebrity in the firing line of Teigen's wit, as Rosenthal also got a bashing.

'I'm dying. No one in the world knows less about baseball than these two,' she added to another post.

While Legend might not be clued up when it comes to baseball, that didn't stop him taking his wife and 18-month-old daughter to a Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins game back in June.

Luna was even offered the change to throw the first pitch at the match.

Adorable!
