Whilst both Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner's rumoured pregnancies are being kept under lock and key, their older sister Kim Kardashian-West is being more-than forthcoming with news of her own pregnancy (suspiciously forthcoming some would even say).

We know that baby number three is being carried by a surrogate and that it is a little baby girl.

Kardashian-West also revealed that the surrogate was not invited to her over-the-top cherry blossom tea party baby shower, due to the fact she hadn't explained the pregnancy to her first two children, North and Saint, yet.

On The Real the 37 year-old dished even more about the birth of her third child, or more specifically, her surrogate.

The hosts asked her the question hot on most of our lips, 'Did the surrogate know she was having your baby?'

Kim replied:

'She didn't know at the beginning.'

That's right, it seems that before the mother was inseminated with the golden egg and sperm combo of the Kardashian-Wests, she didn't know whose it was. And, it appears she would have never had to.

Kardashian-West explained that her surrogacy agreement meant it could have been anonymous, 'You could do it totally anonymously. You could go that route.'

However, she wanted to have a relationship with her surrogate, and also to give her the choice to run a mile if she didn't like the 'Bound 2' rapper dad or mogul mother.

She told the chat show hosts:

'And I just felt like, I wanted whoever was carrying my baby, what if they weren't a fan of me, or my husband. And what if they didn't want to be carrying our baby, I wanted to give them that choice and be proud and on the same page. I wanted a relationship with her.'

So, what would you do if you just found out the baby you were going to incubate for nine months was actually (no actually) a royal? Yeah, freak the eff out. Thankfully the actual surrogate was much more low-key than we are:

'She was really excited. She was someone that had watched the show, not like a superfan or anything that it would have been uncomfortable. She had seen my struggle and seen how open I was about it. So she was really proud to do it and really excited.'
