She might be the most followed celebrity on Instagram with over 130 million followers but unless Selena Gomez follows you back, you won't be getting a sneak peek into her life anytime soon.
Why?
Because the 25-year-old just made her Instagram private and it's not a surprise to find out her fans aren't happy with the 'Bad Liar's latest move.
Yesterday, Gomez posted a cryptic message on Instagram, sharing a snippet of text from her recent interview with Billboard in which the interviewer alludes to a teddy bear in the kitchen of the star's Californian home.
A portion of the profile reads:
'There's a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez's North Hollywood home. 'I know, I know,' says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn't quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. 'It was a gift, and at first I thought, This is so ridiculous, I can't wait until I give it away to another person.' But Gomez, 25, hasn't let go of it — yet.'
In response, the singer - who is currently rumoured to be dating her on/off ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber - wrote: 'Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them in my home. That is so hurtful.
'The most "ridiculous" part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things.'
Hours later, the singer decided to make her Instagram private, sparking upset and concern for the star among 'Selenators'.
While we're not quite sure why Gomez has taken such offence to the mention of a cuddly toy in the interview, we have a funny feeling the bear in question might have something to do with her recent break-up from her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd.
After all, the pair were regularly spotted visiting arcades together during their 10-month relationship so, perhaps the Canadian crooner won the bear for the Texas-born star? It would make sense why she's not quite ready to let go of of the stuffed toy yet, right?
Selena's cryptic post comes days after she shared a video to Instagram Stories from her hotel room in London in which she appears to be on the brink of tears.
She captioned the post: 'I need some alone time.'
Clearly Selena is going through some upsetting stuff right now so we hope she takes the time out of her busy schedule to prioritise her mental and physical health.
