Last week, actress Jennifer Lawrence's interview with mother-of-America Oprah Winfrey was published for the Hollywood Reporter.
In the lengthy chat, Lawrence detailed how Donald Trump's Presidency had made her increasingly political. She told the host that her 'political passion' has 'almost turned into an obsession'.
In a much picked-up quote she explained what she would do if she met the current president of the United States, to which she replied, 'I've got a pretty good speech…And it ends with a martini to the face.'
The Hill was one of the publications that Tweeted the quote, writing, 'Jennifer Lawrence: If I meet Trump, it'll end with "a martini to the face".'
Apparently intent on starting something with the actress, Donald Trump Jr. then spoke up with a strange Tweet. He mysteriously wrote, 'I'm pretty sure that's not how it would end...'
Many have found this open-ended statement rather threatening in it's vagueness, and plenty of people have replied referencing his father's history of alleged sexual misconduct.
We're not sure how Trump Jr. thought a meeting between Lawrence and his father would go, but maybe he should have considered keeping it to himself.
