Weeks after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry and putting her Toronto house up for sale, Meghan Markle is taking some time off her public duties as an upcoming member of the royal family ahead of her permanent move to the UK.

However, leaving behind her life in Canada - where she's been filming her hit show Suits over the years - brings many a dilemma for the 36-year-old, most notably where to find an A-list hairdresser to look after her iconic tresses in Blighty.

So, that might explain why the Californian beauty has struck up an unlikely friendship with singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, following a secret meeting.

The Sun reports the pair recently bonded over hair and beauty tips, with the 42-year-old mother-of-four giving Markle a list of exclusive salon names in London for her to visit.

With a self-proclaimed love of facials, having once revealed Nichola Joss' London-based facial to be her favourite on her lifestyle blog, The Tig, the actress also has been taking tips on where to pamper herself in her new hometown.

A royal insider reportedly told the publication: 'Meghan has been really pleased with Victoria's beauty recommendations and has her to thank for meeting new friends in London.

'They have grown close and regularly text after Victoria told Meghan to visit Sarah Chapman, who bills herself 'London's most sought-after facialist'. Meghan trusts and appreciates her advice. She is even thinking about using Victoria's hairdresser over the Christmas period.'

Having attended the 2011 royal wedding, wearing a Phillip Treacy hat and a navy-blue dress to cover up her then-pregnancy bump, we wouldn't be surprised if Victoria and her husband David bag an invite to Harry and Meghan's 2018 nuptials.
