Before bagging a career as an actor in Hollywood, it's a well-known fact that Channing Tatum did the rounds as a stripper. Chris Pratt worked as a waiter at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Brad Pitt even made ends meet doing shifts as a fast food mascot.

But during his downtime between filming Game of Thrones, it appears British actor Kit Harrington is refining his sales technique by working as a pine tree seller.

Earlier this week, the 30-year-old actor who plays Jon Snow on the hit show was spotted dragging giant snow-covered pine trees across the grounds of Wardhill Castle, owned by his fiancé Rose Leslie's parents (which you can rent, by the way).

The long-haired star was seen loading customers' trees into cars and reportedly helped fans park their cars around the property when it got busy.

Wrapped up in a black coat and scarf, Harington sported a pair of Hunter wellies during his stay at the Aberdeenshire-based castle with his in-laws to be.

GOT fans told the Evening Express that they were left dumbstruck by the actor's appearance at the Castle.

'He was very down to earth, just mucking in and helping out with everything,' one fan told the publication.

'He seemed very friendly, but people weren't approaching him for selfies as it was very obvious he was there as a family member rather than a celebrity.'

Another joked on Twitter: 'It was so random, he also showed us to a parking space. I may never throw the tree out.'

Co-stars Kit and Rose met on the Game Of Thrones in 2012 before announcing their engagement in September this year in the Times newspaper.

Don't give up the day job, Kit.
