Five months since welcoming their first child, Bodhi Soleil, actress Nikki Reed is taking the time to reflect on the joys of motherhood.
To celebrate the start of 2018, the Twilight star posted a beautiful nude throwback photograph of her baby bump, taken by husband Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder, last year.
'2017 you changed me forever,' the 29-year-old actress captioned the snap. 'You made me understand what it means to be human. You made me a mom. You made me a true believer in a love I'd only ever dreamed of…'
The couple, who wed in April 2015 and attempted a 'month of silence' on social media following their child's birth, announced last May they were expecting their first child together, sharing an adorable picture of Somerhalder kissing his wife's baby bump.
'To our friends, family, and rest of the world. In my 38 years on this earth I've never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this,' the actor captioned the Instagram photo.
'I can't think of anything more exciting than this next chapter and we wanted you to hear this from us first. This has been the most special time of our lives and we wanted to keep it between the three of us for as long as possible so we could enjoy this time with each other and our little one who is growing so fast…because that's what they do, they grow so fast. Thank you for your kind energy. Love, Ian.'
However, it appears Nikki wasn't the only star bursting with love for her brood over the New Year as Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria also took to Instagram to share several photos of her baby bump.
For the photo, Longoria was dressed in lack-and-red plaid pyjamas, while tenderly caressing her bump with husband José Bastón.
'New year, new adventures! I'm so grateful to my beautiful family for giving this new baby so much love already! 🙏🏻 #HappyNewYear #2018,' wrote the mum-to-be.
