You may know her for her scene-stealing performances as Eleven in Stranger Things.

Or, as the new face of Raf Simons' Calvin Klein.

Maybe it's her Nicki Minaj-inspired raps on the Tonight Show that rings a bell?

Well, prepare to add another accolade to the star's career trajectory.

Deadline reports the 13-year-old has now bagged one of the most important jobs in her blossoming career to date as the star and producer of a series of films based on Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes Mysteries.

Now quite familiar with Enola Holmes?

Well, her older brothers Sherlock and Mycroft might give you a clue as to her relevance and importance in British literature and entertainment.

The publication reports the six-book series puts Enola, a 'highly capable' teen detective, at the heart of several crime mysteries, underestimated by her elder siblings.

Think of it as this generation's Nancy Drew or Miss Marple but way cooler.

The Radio Times reports the Victorian-set young adult books began in 2006 with The Case of the Missing Marquess and followed the 14-year-old sister of the already-famous sleuth Sherlock Holmes, 20 years older than Enola.

Similar to Brown's role as Eleven in the hit Netflix series, Enola Holmes is known to be resourceful, fearless, independent and a female inspiration.

We'd like to point out that in one of Enola's novels, she's the one who rescues his partner, Watson, from an insane asylum. Just saying.

Brown will produce through her PCMA Productions banner, making it her first self-produced project to date, following her starring role in Michael Dougherty-directed Godzilla sequel for Legendary and Warner Bros.

The teenager - who wore black at Sunday night's Golden Globes awards to show her support for the Time's Up initiative - launches her project on the back of a recent study by the Centre for the Study of Women in Television and Film which found that women accounted for just 28 per cent of industry employees (directors, producers, writers etc) behind-the-scenes in television.

A female led and produced film series in the making?

We couldn't think of anything better for Brown's next career move and the future of the film industry.
