It appears that George and Amal Clooney may just be the most generous people in the world, or at least the most polite.

We recently heard that the Clooneys handed out noise-cancelling headphones on a flight they brought their six month-old twins on, and the Ocean's Eleven star once gave 14 of his mates $1 million dollars.

Now an actress called Bethan Nash posted on her Instagram a letter reportedly sent by the actor and his human right's lawyer wife.

Nash, who has been playing the lead in the George Bernard Shaw Pygmalion -inspired My Fair Lady, said that the handwritten note was , 'better than fairy dust'.

It read:

Amal and I wanted to thank you for a fantastic night of theatre. We loved every minute of it. You were all so wonderful. My extended family (half of beirut) loved it too. Thank you and have a great run. Love George and Amal

At the end of December Nash noted on her Instagram page that the couple had come to see her play Eliza Doolittle at The Mill theatre in Sonning, outside of Reading. She claims that the famous pair even shared a glass or two of bubbles with her post show. Jealous much?

She wrote, 'A very special Christmas present George and Amal Clooney came to see #MyFairLady we drank champagne and brought Christmas Day in 😝A wonderful couple who are generous and humble. They deserve every happiness. Much love and light for the New Year! '

And, it turns out, their Christmas trip to the theatre is something of a tradition.

Last year the same actress posted another snap of the new parents, saying they had just visited her performance of High Society. How good must she be to keep getting repeat visits from the double Academy Award-winning Clooney?

Someone cast this woman in a film already, we want to see her in action.
