Whilst filming in Ireland the Gossip Girl alumni went for a full-on make-under, complete with scraggly hair, eye bags and frayed clothing.
In Dublin the 30-year-old looked the antonym of glamour, clutching a reusable coffee cup and phone.
She looked so un-Lively-like her husband, ever the gentleman, went on to mock his wife on Instagram.
Now more behind the scenes photos have emerged of the star. She posted a snap of herself with a bold red lip and a black cropped hair do, alongside the hashtag #TheRhythmSectionMovie
And it's not the first time we have seen this look, as she also posted a still from the film with this dark pixie crop.
Paps managed to catch Lively filming in New York yesterday wearing a red pin-up girl style wig over her black one, as well as Louboutin shoes.
The film's IMDb page describes the plot as, 'A woman seeks revenge against those who orchestrated a plane crash that killed her family,' and cites Jude Law as her co-star.
Though the film doesn't look like it will be out until next year, at least we have her next flick All I See Is You to look forward to this spring.
