If you haven't already fallen in love with actor Timothée Chalamet following his stellar performances in Call Me By Your Name and Lady Bird, prepare to fall into a deep hole of infatuation for the 22-year-old.

Following the 2018 SAG Awards last night, the nominee took to Instagram to post a photo of him with his date for the evening, his mother Nicole Fender, on the red carpet and a throwback image of the pair at the exact same awards ceremony five years ago when Chalamet was a lesser known star.

'Same date, 5 years later: THE QUEEN #sagawards,' the New Yorker captioned the post.

Other than a longer hair do and nominations for a Golden Globe, SAG and a BAFTA, there's little that separates the Chalamets in the snaps.

Earlier in the evening, the actor discussed his thoughts on the Time's Up Movement, admitting he believed the dialogue is resonating with young men in and out of Hollywood.

'Thank God it is. I think at the level of campus sexual assault, for people my age this was a dialogue that was somewhat already happening,' he told with E! News a week after he revealed he had donated his salary from his recent Woody Allen film to three charities supporting marginalised members of society.

'With the centralisation, the Times Up movement and hopefully at award shows like this, conversation's getting out there.

'Thank God. Equality at the work place. 50/50 by 20/20. These are messages getting out there.'

The Hollywood star recently made headlines after announcing that he would donate his wage from Allen's A Rainy Day in New York to Time's Up, The LGBT Centre in New York and RAINN.

The post comes days before it was rumoured Chalamet's co-star Selena Gomez reportedly made a substantial contribution to the Time's Up initiative following criticism of her work with Allen.

The filmmaker was accused of childhood sexual assault in 1992 by his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow. Allen denies the allegations.
