It's been about a year since that Turkish butcher's extravagant seasoning and carving style swept the internet.

Nusret Gökçe salted, slapped and sliced beef like many of us had never seen before, and inspired a frenzy of memes.

The father-of-nine's idiosyncratic food preparation won him a legion of fans (including us) all falling over themselves to imitate the almost erotic techniques, as well as to be serve by him.

Leonardo DiCaprio even visited Gökçe's Dubai-based restaurant Nusr-et and had his lamb salted.

Last year, it was announced that Nusr-et would be opened in both London and New York, and it looks like Brooklyn Beckham stopped by one of the mini-chain branches to get his own meat seasoned.

The eldest Beckham child took to Instagram to share his non-vegan experience.

Firstly, the 18 year-old showcased his own sprinkling ability, until Gökçe stood in to do the honour himself. He captioned the video, 'I tried but I will leave it up to the master next time! 😂 Unbelievable, thank you for having us @nusr_et'

A second video showed Gökçe thinly slicing a steak without even looking.

And it looks like the love of the salt sprinkling mastery runs in the family, since it was not long ago we noticed that David Beckham had given the Gökçe sprinkle a go.

Victoria Beckham shared a video of her husband on Saturday doing a bit of chef-ing.

The Beckhams appeared to be on a countryside holiday with Gordon Ramsey's family, where they took part in some pizza cooking.

The patriarch dropped slices of banana on what looks like a Nutella-topped pizza base (yum) from a height, as Victoria laughed at him whilst filming.

A love of #SaltBae is one thing we certainly have in common with the Beckham family, now we just need to work on other similarities, like bone structure, success, style...
