Grab a pew, you may need to sit down for this one.

It has been let slip that there is a very good possibility everyone's favourite nineties girl band, The Spice Girls, may be reuniting.

With Victoria.

We know.

The Evening Standard has reported that all five former members of the female supergroup are set to be united in song-making once again, in the year 2018.

Despite all of the women's busy schedules and personal projects, they are said to be rejoining for new projects.

It has been reported that Scary Spice Melanie Brown is flying in to London today for an undercover meeting with old pals 'Ginger Spice' Geri Horner, 'Posh Spice' Victoria Beckham, 'Baby Spice' Emma Bunton and 'Sporty Spice' Mel Chisholm.

Mel C, 44, is the only former member to still be actively pursuing a singing career, whilst 42 year-old Bunton and Mel B have been presenting; 45 year-old Horner is looking after her children and 43 year-old Beckham is, as you well know, a fashion designer.

So, are we to expect a brand-spanking new album and film franchise *crosses fingers*?

Unfortunately not.

The famous Brits instead are said to be considering a greatest hits release, a TV talent show and endorsement deals. No performances are said to be on the cards, and the women have supposedly negotiated £10 million apiece for the deal.

Back in 2012, the women briefly rejoined for the UK's Olympic opening ceremony. However, since then, it is said to have been Beckham who has stymied further collaboration.

In 2017 there were brief rumours that Horner, Bunton and Brown would join forces for a special performance, but this never materialised.

So, it looks like things have changed.

An insider told the Sun, 'This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again. But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year.

'It's very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn't go back.'

You can say that again.
