Bella Hadid Calls Police After Finding Alleged Stalker Outside New York Apartment

The man has reportedly left 'numerous unwanted threatening messages' to the model on social media.


This week, Bella Hadid will be flitting between catwalk shows, sporting some of the world's most expensive and sought-after fashion, and undoubtedly doing it all with the famous steely Hadid stare.

The last thing the 21-year-old should be worrying about, however, is the thought of an alleged online stalker outside her home.

PEOPLE reports a 37-year-old man was arrested outside the model's New York City home on Thursday after he was allegedly seen standing near her apartment building.


The Californian beauty called the New York City Police Department to report a man that had been stalking and harassing her between 17 December 2017 and 7 February 2018, an NYPD spokesperson tells the publication.

Ryan S. Perez was arrested at around 9.35 p.m last night after Hadid told police he had left 'numerous unwanted threatening messages' to her through social media, the spokesperson said.

Perez was later charged with aggravated harassment and stalking. The investigation is ongoing, and it is unclear if he is still in custody, reports the news outlet.

Despite the incident, the face of Dior Beauty attended her friend Samuel Krost's birthday dinner, during which Bella shared videos of on her Instagram stories.

The model was joined by her sister Gigi, who closed Jeremy Scott's New York Fashion Week show sporting a lilac-coloured blunt fringed bob and orange off-the-page eyeliner.
