09/09/19: Kendall Jenner Might Return To The Catwalk After Overcoming Debilitating Anxiety

Months after Kendall Jenner failed to walk in any of the New York Fashion Week AW19 shows due to her debilitating anxiety, the supermodel has hinted at a catwalk comeback in the near future.

During NYFW in September, the 23 year-old spoke to ELLE US about the possibility of joining pals Gigi and Bella Hadid on the runway, detailing how she has learnt to manage the worry she felt in high-pressured situations.

'I used to get really nervous during fashion shows,' the Calabasas-born star explained at the Longchamp SS20 show.

'I feel like when you’re walking on the runway—I say this from experience—you’re just thinking, "Walk straight! Walk straight!—and you try to just focus on that. Especially me, because I used to get really nervous when I knew people in the audience.

The model continued, explaining that she would previously try and force herself 'to zone out' of what she was doing on the catwalk.

'But now, I’m cool with it—I’ve actually gotten so much better at it that I like knowing who’s there, and I’ll kind of peek over to see who’s in the audience before I come out,' she noted. 'But it took a little while to get to that point.'

We're glad to hear that Jenner is feeling fighting fit, and we can't wait to see the happy and healthy model strutting down the runway soon.

10/02/19: Kendall Jenner's Recent Panic Attacks Might Stop Her Walking In The NYFW Shows

As of yet, supermodel Kendall Jenner has not walked during the Autumn/Winter 2019 season New York Fashion Week, and according to reports, it might not happen at all.

Last night, the 23 year-old sat FROW with fellow 'Super' Kate Moss, to watch the Kaia Gerber-starring in the Longchamp show, and this has, so far, been the only official sighting of the second-youngest of Kris Jenner’s children during the American Fashion Week.

Jenner, who recently came under fire for her partnership with Proactiv, has been open with her struggles with anxiety, largely surrounding her skin and constant travel.

Last January the hugely-successful model told Harper’s Bazaar US of her struggles, ‘I literally wake up in the middle of the night with full-on panic attacks. Where do I even start? Everything is so horrible; it's hard to name one thing….You go online and you see everyone saying the worst things to each other, and it's hard to stay positive. It's hard not to get eaten alive by all the negativity.’

In an interview with LOVE Magazine she she explained, ‘Last season I didn’t do any shows. Just 'cause I was working in LA and I was like "Oof, I can’t right now - I’m gonna go crazy.’’' She continued: ‘I was on the verge of a mental breakdown.’

In a Keeping Up With The Kardashians clip that was revealed this time last year, during AW18, we were given, for the first time, more insight into the California-born star’s devastating mental health problems.

Momager Kris Jenner answers the phone to her second-youngest daughter in the brief clip, and tries to ascertain what's wrong. On the other end of the line you can hear a panicked Kendall, telling her mother, 'It's an emergency.'

Kim Kardashian West, also in the room, then told someone they are with, 'That's why she has psoriasis. Every kid has an emergency, every day.'

After Kris leaves the table, she seemingly tries to talk her anxious daughter, asking her, 'Have you eaten something? Do you want me to come take you to the hospital?'

She then enquires about where she is, to which Kendall replies, 'two seconds from Dad's house.' Kris vows she'll get there as soon as possible, before Kendall has to hang up to pick up a call from her father, Caitlyn Jenner.

In a talking head clip, Kris explains her daughter's troubles, noting how her anxiety flares up around fashion month, which happens twice a year.

'Kendall struggles from anxiety and I think she has so much going on that she gets herself really worked up. Kendall gets the most anxious during Fashion Week, so when she's traveling a lot, and Milan's coming up, and trying to juggle it all is overwhelming.'

During the Spring Summer 2018 show, Jenner walked for only Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Versace, Alexander Wang and Tom Ford. Though the Calabasas native also walked during the Victoria's Secret show.

Living so publicly and being under such scrutiny must be extremely difficult for anyone, let alone a 22-year-old.

Thankfully it looks like she has a great support system.
