As Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux predicted in their joint break-up statement last Friday, the gossip mill has gone into overdrive about the recently separated pair.

The couple had been married for two years, and it was reported that they parted ways because each wanted to live on different coasts- her being a Cali-woman and him an NYC man. There have also been reports that, having released their formal statement on the 16th, the couple spent one, final Valentine's Day together two days prior.

Now there is news that 46-year-old Theroux is said to have found notes from none-other than Jennifer Aniston's notorious ex, Brad Pitt, in their home.

A source told Us Weekly that, two years ago, Theroux, 'stumbled upon old Post-it notes Brad had written.'

And these weren't simply reminders to buy more almond milk or to pick up a suit from the dry-cleaners, neither were they Jack Berger-style break-up notes ('I'm sorry I can't don't hate me').

Instead, these were love post-its - which might just be the cutest thing we've ever heard.

They reportedly said thing like, ''You looked nice tonight' or 'Miss you already.''

Our hearts, our poor, poor hearts.

Though they were obviously just mementos and keepsakes from her first marriage, Theroux still felt strangely about them.

'Jen assured him they weren't a big deal, but Justin wasn't thrilled … Justin had moments of insecurity like that,' said the source.

We all have that ex's t-shirt or ticket stub from dates past that we simply can't throw away, so we doubt it was a major factor in this couple's choice to end their relationship.
