Days after revealing she is set to take a career break to work on 'fixing democracy', Jennifer Lawrence has let slip a secret project she is involved in.

Whilst out promoting her spy-thriller film Red Sparrow, the 27-year-old - who also recently divulged that she never graduated from school - explained that she is working on something with Catt Sadler.

Sadler is the ex E! host who made headlines after she publicly quit her job after learning of the pay disparity between her and her male co-host.

Stars such as Lawrence and other member of the #MeToo and Time's Up movements spoke up in support of her, even bringing it up on the Golden Globes red carpet to the other E! hosts.

The Academy Award winner thanked Sadler for telling her story in December of last year, having told her own story of pay disparity in American Hustle back in 2015.

In January The Hollywood Reporter interviewed Sadler, explaining: 'Jennifer Lawrence has become a friend of mine — really, a hero of mine.'

She continued, 'Long before my own experiences, her voice has been an empowering one and one I've always admired. To have her in my corner is hard to put into words, to be honest.'

At the end of last week, Lawrence was speaking with Audrey Gelman at The Wing in New York when she let slip that she is working with Sadler on a series project. When Gelman pushed her on the subject she laughed, 'I wasn't supposed to announce that but I am.'

A source has since told THR that that Lawrence and Sadler are developing a series inspired by #MeToo and Time's Up and that, 'the pair are looking to take a deep dive into issues facing women today.'

We need to watch this show ASAP.
