Jennifer Lawrence's red-carpet looks are always flawless. Whether it's bare-faced and demure in Dior, or groovy and 70s (also Dior), the star knows what she's doing.
Well, most of the time anyway.
Whilst on a promo tour for her spy thriller Red Sparrow, which you can see an exclusive clip of here, Lawrence attended the film's premiere in New York, dressed to perfection, once again in trusty Dior.
She switched up her evolving beauty looks, this time going for a vertiginous bun, with a smokey eye and glossy red lip. The Academy Award winner was clearly going for a vampy look, and tried to team it with a suitably smouldering pose, however, she ended up looking arguably a little more demonic than alluring.
Thankfully, the Kentucky-native has offered an explanation for her 'I will win the staring competition' stance.
Appearing as a guest at SiriusXM, Lawrence told radio show host Andy Cohen, who she had been filming with prior to the premiere, 'But I did get drunk at your thing…can we look at the premiere photos please?,' she questioned, 'I look like I had had electroshock therapy. In my head I'm like, "I'm a goth dream," and then I looked at the photos and I'm like, "I'm a goth dream on crack." My eyes were like "I'm not drunk!"'
