The Spice Girls may already be breaking up, and they're not even officially back together yet! As per usual with Spice World, the members of the group seem to have very different expectations following that long-awaited reunion in February where they discussed 'some incredible new opportunities.'
Geri Horner has insisted that the Spice Girls really are "putting all the possibilities out there" at the moment — which is contrary to bandmate Victoria Beckham's recent comments that a tour is out of the question.
'I'm not going on tour. The girls aren't going on tour,' Posh Spice insisted. "There's something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like?
'We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming.'
So a tour is completely out of the realms of possibly, right? Wrong, because now the Spice Girls' manager is hinting that the other ladies might simply opt to tour without Victoria.
'It may be four, not five. Possibly,' Simon Fuller has now told TMZ.
Fuller also seemed less-than-willing to confirm that the Spice Girls will launch their big reunion at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as Mel B claimed earlier in the week.
Mel B stopped short of confirming or denying that the Spice Girls will be performing during the nuptials, but did flatly say: 'Us five Spice Girls are [going].'
Where does that leave us? As confused as ever, which is probably right where the Spice Girls want us for the moment.
