If you've ever dreamed of being metres away from a Royal wedding gown, specifically Meghan Markle's, then this might be your chance.

According to the Telegraph, Kensington Palace has announced that 2,640 members of public are to be invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. The special day, which is to be held at Windsor Castle on 19th May, is set to host some of us commoners, so as to be able to get a close-up look at the newlyweds before and after their ceremony at St. George's Chapel.

However, not just anyone can get a hallowed invite to the wedding of the decade. The invitees will be made up of a distinct group of people.

It has been reported that 100 children from local schools The Royal School and St George's School are to be present to watch the nuptials inside the castle walls.

Other guests are said to include representatives from Harry's key charities, 530 members of staff from the Royal Household and Crown Estate, more than 600 people from the Windsor Castle community as well as 1,200 members of the public who have served their communities.

What we want to know is does creating hilarious drunk Instagram stories fall under the category of 'serving communities'?What about starting a WhatsApp group detailing all the ways (spoiler alert) it makes no sense whatsoever that Dan Humphries is Gossip Girl count? Because we think it should.

A spokesman for the couple said: 'Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have said they want their wedding day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too.

'This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the bride and groom.'

The statement concluded:

'The couple has asked that the people chosen are from a broad range of backgrounds and ages, including young people who have shown strong leadership, and those who have served their communities,' a spokesman said.

Ok, maybe our social media efforts won't quite cut the mustard, so to the lucky invitees out there, make sure you Tweet her dress details ASAP. Cheers.
