It was a moment that Hollywood will never forget – at the 2017 Oscars, Warren Beatty read out the wrong winner for Best Picture, giving the award to La La Land instead of Moonlight. And this year, the Academy Awards has decided to give the actor – and his co-presenter, Faye Dunaway – a second chance at handing out the most prestigious award of the night.

According to TMZ, the stars of Bonnie and Clyde have been selected to give the award out for Best Picture for the second year in a row, hopefully this time without an envelope mix up.

Although it wasn't actually Dunaway or Beatty's fault, this will give the duo the chance to redeem themselves after such dramatic confusion during the biggest moment of the night. In fact, PricewaterhouseCoopers – the accounting firm in charge of the tabulation – took blame for the mishap, something which Beatty tried to explain on the night.

'I want to tell you what happened,' he told the audience. 'I opened the envelope. It said Emma Stone, La La Land. That's why I took such a long look at Faye and at you. I wasn't trying to be funny. This is Moonlight, the best picture.'

This year, they will be reading out the winner from the following list of nominees: Call Me By Your Name, Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, The Post, The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Hopefully the correct winners will be the only people to go on stage at that moment.
