preview for Taraji P. Henson Shades Ryan Seacrest at the 2018 Oscars

Each year, Ryan Seacrest is a mandatory stop for Oscar guests on their way into the awards ceremony.

Not this year, however.

In case you missed it, let us recap for you: last month, Variety published accusations from ex-E! stylist Suzie Hardy, who alleged that the host sexually harassed and abused her after she started working for him in 2007.

Seacrest has denied all accusations.

E! launched an independent investigation and concluded in February that there was 'insufficient evidence' to support the allegations and they 'could not be substantiated.'

The channel then stated that he would still interview on the Oscars red carpet tonight. At one time, perhaps they would have gotten away with that decision. But in 2018, as the #MeToo and Time's Up movements continue to be a central topic of discussion, their decision wasn't taken lightly.

The result? The night's major stars responded with an obvious snub, and simply avoided interviews with Seacrest. Earlier in the week, actresses like Jennifer Lawrence expressed doubts about interviewing with him.

According to Mashable UK, Seacrest interviewed 20 people and only two were actual Oscar nominees. Those included Allison Janney, who was up for supporting actress, and Christopher Plummer, up for supporting actor.

On top of that, actress Taraji P. Henson (of Empire and Hidden Figures fame) appeared to throw further shade in Seacrest's direction.

While chatting with the E! host about best supporting actress nominee Mary J. Blige, she had a few choice words.

'The universe has a way of taking care of taking care of good people,' she said, touching his chin. 'Know what I mean?'

Seacrest paused, before replying with a meek, 'I agree.'

Later, Seacrest interviewed Christopher Plummer about how he stepped in to re-shoot scenes from All the Money in the World. He didn't mention it was because Kevin Spacey, freshly accused of sexual assault, had to be literally painted out of the movie. Plummer didn't bring it up either, saying: 'In the theatre, disaster happens all the time. I love risk. We all do.'

In fact, the E! host interviewed a lot of men. Christopher Plummer, Andy Serkis, Common, Miguel, Bradley Whitford, and Richard Jenkins, both of who wore Time's Up pins.

Unsurprisingly, the lack of celebrity support didn't go by unnoticed on Twitter:
