Days after celebrating Justin Bieber's father's wedding in Jamaica and Selena Gomez wishing her boyfriend a 'happy birthday' on Instagram, it seems that the 24-year-old 'Sorry' singer's recent Instagram activity is signalling trouble in paradise for the couple.

Hollywood Life reports that before Justin celebrated his 24th birthday with his on/off girlfriend, Selena, last week, he 'liked' model and YouTube star Inanna Sarkis' sultry Instagram pictures over two weeks ago.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with liking a member of the opposite sex's social media posts, but when said model looks scarily similar to the 25-year-old 'Wolves' singer, it may raise some eyebrows.

Fortunately for Selena, singer Inanna is a friend of fellow Youtuber and one of Bieber's closest friend's, Lele Pons.

The model and aspiring actress is also one of the artists represented by the signer's Shots Studio company which produces her YouTube content.

Sarkis was previously a bikini model for MTV Live.

Justin's fans have come to his defence on Twitter, highlighting that the singer is just friends with the 24-year-old model.

However, this isn't the first time Justin has shown a love for finding beautiful models on Instagram.

In 2016, the singer shared a picture of Instagram user Cindy Kimberly, along with the caption: 'Omg, who is this!!' As a result, the post catapulted the Spanish 17-year-old to fame, resulting in a catwalk show in Madrid Fashion Week and a campaigns contract for Very.

Last week, Selena posted her first public declaration of love for Bieber since their reconciliation in November.

The Texan posted a snap of herself with a polaroid on her forehead with the caption: 'March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom.'

The snap has already garnered over 9 million likes.
