Days after Meghan Markle was baptised in a private ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the 36-year-old is now wearing a new diamond cross bracelet.

During her visit to Birmingham with Prince Harry on Thursday, Meghan was seen showing off a delicate diamond bracelet, worn on her left wrist, which is widely believed to be a baptism gift.

The stunning piece of jewellery was stacked on top of another diamond band, a Horizontal Bar Bracelet made from her favourite brand Birks' Rosée du Matin collection which costs approximately £667.

Baptism bracelets are a common keepsake and often feature crosses, a person's name or a biblical scripture engraved on it.

Last Tuesday, Markle reportedly took part in a 45-minute service in the Royal Chapel at St. James's Palace in London, which was also attended by her future father-in-law, Prince Charles, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, to officially convert the star to the Church of England.

Markle, who was brought up Episcopalian, wasn't required to convert to her future husband's religion before their wedding, but the baptism was seen as a sign of respect to the star's future grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, who is head of the Church that was founded by Henry VIII in 1534.

Previous rulings stated that future spouses of the royal family must be C of E and have never been married. Fortunately, rules have become more lax over the years.

The Suits star's baptism follows in the footsteps of Kate Middleton, who was also confirmed in private in the months leading up to her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

While we're not sure who gifted Meghan the baptism gift, we have no doubt it'll sell out in record time, much like her recent J.Crew coat she sported during her official visit to Birmingham.

The news comes amid reports Prince Harry is teaching his bride-to-be how to drive on the left side of the road and how to drive a manual car after years of using an automatic, in the case of an emergency.

The Daily Mail reports the royal and his police protection officers are helping Markle settle into British customs as much as possible and that the former actress is also in the process of applying for a British provisional licence.

The Californian star will also be taught evasive driving techniques as par of a general programme of security training.

It's all change for Meghan this month!
