With production for the third season of Stranger Things just around the corner, the stars of the hit show have apparently entered into some rather successful salary negotiations.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that both the adults and kids have managed to negotiate 12 times more than they made for seasons 1 and 2.

Like many shows, their pay packets have been negotiated in tiers.

The top tier is made up of adults Winona Ryder and David Harbour, who have gone from earning $100,000 (£71,440) and $80,000 (£57,150) respectively per episode to a reported $350,000 (£250,040).

The second tier is made up of the beloved Stranger Things children, namely Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp. They similarly have made a grand old leap from around $20,000 (£14,288) per episode in the first two series to a rumoured $250,000 (£178,600).

The third tier is made up of the young adults of Stranger Things, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery who are set to make an impressive $150,000 (£107,160) per episode.

Though, there is one actress whose salary remains a mystery to all - that of break-out star Millie Bobby Brown.

The 14 year-old should technically be in band B with her fellow teens. But as she's been such a hit, it's believed she'll actually be earning closer to Oscar-nominated Ryder's salary, somewhere between $250,000(£178,600)-$350,000 (£250,040).

The show's Emmy success has proved an exciting vehicle for both career break-outs and comebacks, so we're not super surprised these stars are getting payed so heftily.
