You can find heroes in the most unexpected places.

For years, Sports Illustrated model-turned chef Chrissy Teigen was our Twitter heroine, even getting blocked by troll-in-chief Donald Trump for saying that no-one likes him.

But we think the mother of Luna (and Queen of online zingers) may have been dethroned by another surprising choice: Stormy Daniels.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has risen to international fame after she alleged an affair with President Trump years ago and, furthermore, claimed she has been illegally and improperly silenced by Trump and his lawyers.

Trump has denied the affair and subsequent 'gagging' allegations.

Yet the award-winning adult performer and director has proved herself a cunning adversary, adopting skilful legal footwork with her lawyer, whilst only helping her personal brand and success.

Oh, and by burning people on Twitter left, right and centre with explicit Twitter posts.

Unfortunately for the Trump supporters who hope to slut-shame or demean 39 year-old Daniels, the seasoned pro (she has been in the adult entertainment industry since she was 17) is more than equipped to shut down the haters.

In fact, her Twitter has become our favourite place to hang out, though it is not for the easily offended.

Often referencing her career in sex, Daniels reclaims every slur thrown at her, affirming her status as a 'whore' or 'skank' in the most bad-ass way:

Though she totally doesn't need to, Daniels defends her intelligence and success with style:

And, she addresses the controversy that brought the trolls to her frankly and hilariously:

Essentially, whether one 'believes' her story or not, the woman is a come-back Queen.
