Robin Williams has been accused by former Mork & Mindy co-star of groping and flashing her whilst they worked together.

Williams committed suicide in 2014 reportedly due to his misdiagnosis of Parkinson's disease (he, in fact, had Lewy body dementia) and worked on the show in the 70s.

His co-star, Pam Dawber, has detailed sexually inappropriate behaviour from Williams whilst filming the American TV show in New York Times journalist Dave Itzkoff's new biography of the late actor.

Dauber is now 65 years old and told the journalist, 'I had the grossest things done to me by him. And I never took offence. I mean I was flashed, humped, bumped, grabbed.'

The actress, who played Mindy in the series, has described these actions as harmless behaviour, 'I think he probably did it to a lot of people … but it was so much fun.'

Dawber similarly accused him of wrestling her as well as appearing on set nude. The Daily Mail reports her as saying, 'If you put it on paper you would be appalled, but somehow he had this guileless little thing that he would do – those sparkly eyes.'

Detailing his behaviour she noted, 'He'd look at you, really playful, like a puppy, all of a sudden. And then he'd grab your tits and then run away.'

In the biography, which is set to be released in May, both Williams' co-stars and director referenced the fact it was 'the '70s' and 'Robin being Robin' that meant these actions were allowed. The director specifically stated there was nothing 'lascivious about it.'

Dawber concludes that Williams was like a brother to her, who had a 'gigantic heart' and was 'such a nice person.'

Williams estate is yet to comment on Dawber's statements.
