This week ELLE partnered up with Reebok to hold an exclusive Spartan Race training event for ELLE Insiders at the FitHub in Covent Garden. Reebok kindly closed the whole store especially for the private event.

Richard Pringle, the guy who masterminds the obstacles for the Reebok Spartan Races (awesome job), was there to put us through our paces. Okay, none of us are signed up to run a Spartan race, yet, but we were all willing to give the training a go. There were plenty of squats and burpees but then we got to chuck huge weighted gym balls on the floor (very satisfying), we crab-walked our way across the store (hilarious) and learnt how to climb a rope (with varying degrees of success), among other things.

Post-workout everyone enjoyed a Tossed juice and the chance to shop with a 20% discount, plus they were given 50% off any Spartan Race they signed up for this year. Tempted to sign-up for a Spartan Race? Visit the Reebok Spartan Race wesbite here.

Plus, head to Covent Garden next Wednesday 10 September, where the Reebok team will be setting up obstacle courses in the Piazza for you to try, with expert guidance from the Spartan Race team.

If you like the look of this, and want to come to more ELLE fitness events sign-up for ELLE Insider or keep an eye out here or on our Twitter accounts @ELLEUK and @ELLEukrunning because we have plenty more events in the pipeline.
