Here at ELLE, we love a fitness challenge. From run club to triathlons (for the crazy few), there’s something about exercising in a group that spurs you on to go further and faster, testing your limits. And it’s a great bonding experience, too: many firm friendships have been formed over a jog round Regent’s Park, or the slog to the end of the tri finish line.
But what about those of us who perhaps aren’t up to running miles and miles? Be it from injury, or just not feeling quite fit enough, what other options are there? Swimming is a great place to start, and this is where the #GetSpeedoFit challenge comes in.
Over the next six weeks, Team ELLE will be taking part in the multi-distance swimming challenge – and we want you to join us. Whether you’re a competent swimmer who wants a new training goal, or a complete beginner, it’s something everyone can take part in, regardless of their age or fitness level.
