How to spot a new year trend? Check out the best sellers on Amazon. Week one of 2016 and it's clear what we're all thinking about from our book purchases. Here are the top ten most popular list, and a little bit about why you'll want them.


1. Lean in 15 by Joe Wicks, £6.99

Who? Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, (huge cult status as an anti-diet body transformer).

Why? Joe promises you can eat more, exercise less and lose fat. Funnily enough those were our three New Years Resolutions. Over 100 recipes to get you going. 


2. Cook, Nourish, Glow by Amelia Freer, £10

Who? You know, the (trianed nutritionist) woman responsible for the Sam Smith transformation and author of phenomenally successful Eat, Nourish, Glow.

Why? This one gives anyone and everyone the cooking skills to actually enjoy with your new dairy, refined sugar and gluten-free lifestyle. Admit it, you're tempted.

3. Everyday Super Food by Jamie Oliver, £11.99

Who? The man needs no introduction, but in case you've been in a hermetically sealed cave for the last 15 years, he is a beloved national treasure on a mission to make us love all the food in the most comforting, healthyish, savvy and delicious way possible.

Why? He's done the comfort food thing and the round the wrold thing and the leftovers thing, and now its time for superfood. These are delicious recipes with extra nutitional benefits. The man is honest and we love him for it.


4. Millie Marotta's Animal Kingdom, £3.99

Who? A hugely popular illustrator (who knew?) and the woman behind the adult colouring book craze.

Why? 2015 was the year for alternative stress-relieving. Colouring-in for grown ups? We're sold. Therapeutic, calming and creative, this is particularly whimsical and just gorgeous.

Who? Food blogger turned record breaking bestselling author, Ella turned to healthy eating to help manage a medical condition and it worked.

Why? Promising to keep your life and health on track, this is the follow up to the record breaking best selling Deliciously Ella, full of lists, tips, and easy recipes. The jury is still out on those sweet potato brownies mind you...


6. Harry Potter Colouring Book by Warner Brothers, £4.99

Who? A little known wizard boy with a scar on his forehead is the star of this colouring book.

Why? There are actual line drawings used in the making of the Harry Potter films from the Warner Bros. archives so grown ups will get a serious thrill from this stres-relieveing tool too.

Who? Marie runs an acclaimed -decluttering consultancy service in Tokyo

Why? Promising a 'simple, effective way to banish clutter forever', this is perfectly tapping into the 'New Year, New You' metnality that, it seems,  NO ONE is immune from.

8. The Sirt Food Diet by Aidan Goggins and Glen Matten, £5.59

Who? Aidan and Glen have masters in nutritional medicine and are a recognised authority on the topic, with a lot of well known athelteic fans to back them up.
