From resorting to press-ups agains the sofa to using cookbooks in lieu of dumbbells, the thought of breaking any more sweat during lockdown has us wanting to thrown in the towel for good when it comes to working out.

So, it's no surprise many of us are reaching at-home fitness fatigue and counting down the days until gyms reopen in the UK. A change of scenery and workout routine couldn't come soon enough for many gym bunnies.

Fortunately, indoor gyms, pools and leisure centres will finally be able to welcome back fitness lovers amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic from July 25.

However, as Covid-19 continues to throw all holiday and weddings plans up in the air, it's more important than ever that people are able to take part in fitness without committing to pricey, year-long membership fees.

So, how can you get fit during lockdown, try out a bunch of the latest fitness trends and use high-tech gym equipment in a safe way as and when it suits, without the financial obligation of a £70 p/m gym membership?

It's time you became clued up on pay-as-you-go-gyms - from drop in classes to studios without the long-term commitment.
