He trains Kate Upton when she's in London and P Diddy in Miami, here nutritionist and strength and conditioning coach Ruben Tabares shares his advice on what to eat and drink every day for optimum health.

Get ready to forget about your 5 a day and stock up on pumpkin seed oil, just one of the fats that help you lose weight.

• Eat as many different colourful fruit and vegetables as possible and forget about 5 a day.

In order to get the same amount of nutrition from a single carrot 50 years ago, we would need to eat four carrots today because of modern farming practices.

The more the better.

• Introduce a superfood shake to your life.

Start with 200ml of coconut water, and add a teaspoon of the following:-

Maca – (helps your body adapt to stress and balances hormones, it is also known as a libido enhancer)

Acai – promotes skin health as it contains medium chain fatty acids (omega 6 linoleic acid and omega 9 oleic acid) and is rich in B-complex vitamins which aid brain health and function.

Acerola Vitamin C powder – up to 13 times more powerful than oranges, acerola cherries pack a nutritious punch.

Vitamin C is needed for collagen production and for overall immune health.

• Eat cacao to get your chocolate fix. Cacao's health benefits are vast: it reduces heart disease, helps shed fat, boosts immunity, helps increase memory and enhances energy production.

• Add good fats to your diet such as avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, flax seeds, chia seeds,  raw butter, and my favourite pumpkin seen oil.

Believe it or not, these fats not only help you lose weight but are essential for optimum health and keep you strong throughout your life.

• And finally...be happy, make sure everything you eat brings a smile to your face.

There is no point eating things that make your stomach turn just because you think they are healthy.
