Sean Diddy Combs (aka P Diddy) has announced plans to open a school in Harlem, New York.
‘I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders. The first step is offering access to a quality education. Every young person should have the tools they need to succeed. All our children should be able to pursue their dreams. That is something I can impact with this school,’ Combs said via The Huffington Post.
Giving back to the community is a worthy deed and we should all applaud Combs. What a guy.
And while we don't want to take away from what a great move this is, we can't stop fantasing about the possibilities. Can you imagine? P Diddy High! How cool would that be? And how would it look? (In a fantasy situation, much like Professor X’s School for Gifted Children, that is.)
THE UNIFORM
This is the man who gave the world Sean John and White Parties. Yes, in real life life, his school might opt for a classic uniform. But, we'd like to think there would occassionally be a themed casual Friday or two.
Might we suggest: Civvies day. Time to bring out that Sean John tracksuit that’s at the bottom of your wardrobe. And maybe an all-white-everything dress code all year long?
THE STAFF
Music class would undoubtedly be a highlight and what about those guest lecturers? With a contacts book as big as Puff's, we would be sure to see everyone from Lil Kim to Usher making an appearance.
And, a special shout out to pastor Ma$e who is sure to keep those morning assembly’s entertaining.
THE EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Again, the music programme would be #OnPoint and from band practice to dance lessons there's definitely some cool going on after school. But we all know P Diddy is a fan of golf. We've all seen the Mo Money Mo Problems video. See you on the 19th hole? FOUR!
