It was only a matter of time before speculation about royal baby no. 2 hit fever pitch.

If the internet is to be believed then it’s a girl – definitely a girl. Rumour has it that Will and Kate are so sure it’s of the female variety that they have already set to work on a pink nursery.

As for her name? Initially it was thought the couple were planning to name the baby after the Queen’s late sister, Margaret.

But wait! According to the internet, they have now have decided that Elizabeth would make for a better choice. They have even asked the Queen for her permission to use it.

The monarch’s response? She was ‘absolutely thrilled’.
