On Sunday night 40 Victoria’s Secret Angels boarded a private jet from New York to London for the 2014 show. What really went down on-board the flight? We caught up with five of the Angels the next morning at London’s Bond Street store to find out.
‘The journey was so glamorous; we got to fly in a private plane! It’s been three or four years since we all travelled together so we had lots of catching up to do.’
‘The best part of the trip over was just to get all of us together again. We never usually have a chance because of our crazy schedules and we’re always on different sides of the world. I did manage to squeeze in some sleep, too.’
‘It was fun! Usually we only ever really get to sneak a conversation between hair and make-up, so it was nice to sit next to my friends and have a proper chat. It makes the travel experience so much better. We did some interviews in the beginning and then everyone put their eye masks on and had a snooze.’
‘We all woke up at 4am so everybody was exhausted at first, but when we all got together it was so fun. It’s different in New York when everyone goes home but this feels like we’re all on a school trip together. It was a huge plane and everyone had a big seat so it was really comfortable and we got time to relax and sleep, too. I have a four month old baby at home so don’t get to sleep much!’
‘It was great! We were all just hanging out and chatting and watching movies.’
