We're getting closer to the release of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, and to add to the growing anticipation the newest track from the movie's soundtack "Love me like you do" by Ellie Goulding is out.

With Beyoncé's Crazy in Love remix, and The Weeknd already on the soundtrack, can this alone sway your vote to go and see the film?

It's has been two years since Rihanna's last album. And, although she has been busy being a creative director for Puma and throwing annual galas, it seems that Rihanna also made it into the recording studio – her new song, World Peace, was leaked on 2 January.

R8, Rihanna's eight studio album, is meant to be released this year, and the song already sounds like it's going to be another massive year for her in the charts.

Take a listen:

But Ri's not the only one making music headlines already.

Kanye West released his new track Only One, which is a song speaking from Kanye's late mother's perspective to North West, on New Year's day. The moving song features Paul McCartney, and we hear that the duo have recorded several additional tracks, with potential for their work to develop into an album. Another unlikely celebrity friendship that we didn't see coming.

In case you don't follow Madonna on Instagram (tsk tsk), she recently released the art work for her thirteenth studio album, Rebel Heart. Of course, this wouldn't be Madonna without her causing some sort of commotion, and let's just say that putting out images of famous deceased activists (oh, and new her girl crush Miley Cyrus), wrapped up in a microphone cord did not go unnoticed.

The album isn't supposed to be released until March, but six of the tracks were officially released on 20 December due to… Another leak.
