Taylor Swift may have had her Twitter and Instagram accounts hacked earlier this week, but no skin off her nose, the singer has proven that the best way to deal with a social media attack is a cooler-than-cool comeback.

Earlier this week, the singer’s Twitter and Instagram accounts sent out posts urging her millions of fans to follow the leader of the suspected hacking group, Lizard Squad.

The posts were quickly deleted, and once the singer regained control of the accounts, quickly dismissed rumours of leaked nude images in a light-hearted manner: ‘Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack...’ – playing with the lyrics of her hit song, Shake It Off.

The singer followed the tweet with further retribution:  ‘PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.’
