The General Election is fast approaching and today the Bite The Ballot campaign group is urging people to register, now, now NOW!

Why? Because if you don't register you can't vote on May 7.

It matters because politicians write policies for people that vote. Women, let's change the agenda.

If we want issues like equal pay, childcare, domestic violence and the representation of women in public life to be tackled by the government we need to vote. Together we are powerful. Simple.

Any British citizen, residing in the UK who is over the age of 18 can register to vote. So likelyhood is you have no excuse not to (unless you're in prison or a member of The House of Lords. Things are also less straightforward in you live on a narrow boat, FYI).

You have until midnight tonight, 20 April, to register for the General Election. Do it.

REGISTER NOW!
