Would you rather live ten 50-year-long lives, or one 500-year-long life? Bit of a stumper, eh? This film might just sway your decision.
In Age Of Adaline, a freak accident renders Blake Lively's character, Adaline Bowman, immortal. What's more, Adaline is 'immune to the ravages of time', which initially sounds appealing until you realise it's actually weird and inconvenient to look like a 29-year-old forever (try explaining that to your doctor, neighbour, boyfriend). Which brings us to the most tragic things about the film - due to her particular situation she is forced to sever ties with lovers she gets close to and watch her daughter grow old.
