When you’re getting dressed for an event like this, how do you pick your outfit?
I like to be comfortable. And I don't like to have to worry about having to adjust things if things are too short, I don't want to feel self conscious so I like to wear things that make me feel empowered. And I like to wear something unusual that brings out a different element of my personality.
Anything in particular that always makes you feel confident?
I think everyone loves a slash of red lipstick.
Shoes?
I am wearing Jimmy Choo for Giles, they were custom made for the show. And I just adore them.
Do you throw a good party?
I don't actually, I like a book and some pyjamas and the sofa.
How would you describe your style?
I have been asked this before so I know the answer. I describe my personal style as mythic space horse with chocolate box tendencies.
Favourite karaoke song?
I used to do karaoke with Patrick Woolf in a karaoke box and he would ring me up and say, come down and do karaoke with me here and then we’d sing Kate Bush songs and get really, really emotional and theatrical in the booth. It was quite sensual.
