Disney Is Giving Mulan the Live-Action Treatment

The non-animated trend continues

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney plans to make a live-action adaptation of Mulan. The project is still in development, but the studio has purchased a script and hired a couple of producers. Time to break out your CD of the soundtrack and relearn all the words to "Reflection."

As you no doubt know, Disney just can't stop with the live-action versions of their animated classics. They recently announced a new version of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, as well as a Tim Burton-directed Dumbo. Sounds like it might be a good time to greenlight the Rock's action-packed edition of Bambi while they're at it, no?
