Whenever an opportunity presents itself to listen to ELLE cover star Benedict Cumberbatch say saucy-romantic things we are thrilled.

Benedict was amongst the roster of remarkable readers who took part in London's Letters Live events in April 2015. Each night he was joined by his Sherlock co-star Louise Brealey to read a series of passionate letters penned by real-life young lovers Bessie and Chris who were separated during the Second World War.
