The first trailer for the new upcoming documentary about the life of Amy Winehouse has been released.
Helmed by award winning director of Senna, Asif Kapadia, Amy is set to document the story of the six-time Grammy winner, who tragically died of alcohol poisoning at the age of 27 in 2011.
Billed as the story of Amy Winehouse told ‘in her own words’, the movie will feature extensive unseen archive footage and previously unheard tracks, as it charts her career and personal life.

Amy is due out in cinemas on the 3rd July 2015.
