Hillary Clinton has announced that she is running for President of the United States of America.

After many months of intense speculation, the former Secretary of State confirmed her entry in the 2016 race.

The former first lady previously ran for president in 2008, the year that Barack Obama was appointed to office.

In a speech given to the United Nations in 1995, she famously declared, 'Women's rights are human rights'. The words of a woman we can really get behind.

Could Clinton become America's first female president?

While we wait with bated breath for the outcome of the General Election in the UK, we have to say that our attentions have turned stateside - the race for the White House just got really interesting.
