Considering that women only achieved the right to vote less than a century ago, it's hard to fathom not exercising it. And yet here we are in 2015, still fighting for visibility in not just politics, but the media outlets that discuss and influence them. This can't continue.

To get to the root of the problem, the feminist writer and academic Zoe Strimpel spent a week scrutinising the news for a special ELLE investigation.
