Well, now he has - for the saddest reason possible.
McHenry was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in 2013 and he died on Sunday.
In an inexpicably moving tribute posted on Twitter yesterday, Gosling paid tribute to the man who catapulted him into the viral hall of fame.
We'll raise a spoon to that.
