Fans of Keanu (read: us) were devastated this morning to hear that the remake of Point Break will not feature our favourite floppy haired surfer as FBI agent as Johnny Utah.
Instead the role will be taken up by a heavily tattoo'd Luke Bracey, with Edgar Ramirez stepping up as Bodhi.
In fact the whole remake is entirely different to the original 1991 film that was directed by Kathryn Bigelow. The new version has tonnes of added action rammed scenes including snowboarding, sky diving, rock climbing - but the surfing remains. Thank the lord.
Initial responses from fans have been disapproving - but hey, we like new things, so are more than willing to give it a shot.
Though just to be clear our hearts will always be with Keanu.
Point Break hits UK cinemas on 8 January, or hire the DVD and rewatch the original.
