There's something a little bit mesmerising about watching and listening to Leighton Meester sing. Mostly it's that thing of, wow - Blair Waldorf can really sing. Which isn't fair because she hasn't been Blair Waldorf for a while. Gossip Girl ended in 2012, and in October of 2014 Meester put out her first album, Heartstrings. (She told us that the album is 'sensitive, it's sort of guarded, but also open and vulnerable and triumphant.')
Still, if you forgot that Meester, now pregnant with her first child with husband Adam Brody, has a lovely singing voice, here she is covering '90s anthem Lovefool, by the Cardigans for the A.V. Club's Undercover series:
