Kim Kardashian will speak at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, California, next week, hosted by INFORUM, whose website describes its mission as "to create meaningful conversations around the things that matter." In other words, the Kardashians.

"Kim Kardashian-West has taken everything that is modern day society — from selfies to self-promotion to sexuality — embraced it, monetized it and now we're going to talk about it," the lecture's rubric promises, so be prepared to take notes. In particular, Professor Kim will discuss her family and their place in Millennial culture, as well as "the objectification of women in media." (After all, if your butt can break the Internet, you're well qualified to comment.) It's unclear if she will have a PowerPoint presentation ready, but let's hope so. VIP tickets for the lecture cost $300 (about £190) — they include a cocktail party, which your college profs could never.

If you'd prefer something a little less hard-hitting, Kim is also hosting a makeup master class with her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic on July 25 in Pasadena, California. It will include "every secret and trick" they have to offer, Kim promises; contouring doesn't come easy, after all.
